KSI vs Tommy Fury: Ringwalk time revealed and how you can watch online
YouTuber and rapper KSI (real name Olajide “JJ” Olatunji) hopes to build upon his “legacy”, while Love Island star Tommy Fury plans to bring an end to influencer boxing, as the fighters prepare to battle it out in the ring on Saturday. The match forms part of ‘The Prime Card’, billed as such because KSI’s rival turned business partner Logan Paul's bout against mixed martial artist Dillon Danis is the co-main event. Hype has already been building around the fights after Danis shared a series of images of Paul’s fiancée, Nina Agdal, nude, and with other men on Twitter (now known as X) – a move which sparked controversy online. Meanwhile, fans will be waiting to see if KSI can do what rival boxer and YouTuber Jake Paul couldn’t and defeat Fury in the ring. As if that wasn’t enough, things intensified following a dramatic first press conference back in August, which was brought to an abrupt close when John Fury flipped over tables in anger. Now, with it being just days away from the event at Manchester Arena, here’s what’s coming up and how you can watch all the action. When is the KSI vs Tommy Fury fight? The event kicks off at 7pm GMT on Saturday (October 14), with streaming site DAZN saying the ringwalks for the main event – that’s KSI vs Tommy Fury – taking place at approximately 11:25pm UK time (6:25pm ET), though this could change depending on how long the undercard fights take. A poster shared to X by KSI on Sunday said the main event is scheduled to start “approximately five hours later” after the 7pm start time, which takes it to midnight. Either way, it’ll be a long, busy night for boxing fans. Who’s on the undercard? And before the two big names have their fights, there’s several bouts listed on the undercard. These are: Salt Papi vs Slim Deen the Great vs Walid Sharks 2 King Kenny vs Anthony Taylor Whindersson Nunes vs My Mate Nate Wassabi Lmao (Alex Wassabi and Nichlmao) vs Los Pinedas Coladas (Luis Pineda and B Dave) Astrid Wett vs Alexia Grace Swarmz vs Ryan Taylor 2 Chase DeMoor vs Tempo Arts S-X vs DTG Where can I watch the fight? Unless you managed to nab a ticket to the sold-out event in Manchester, the main way of watching the fight is through the streaming platform DAZN, with the pay-per-view (PPV) priced at £19.99 for UK viewers and $54.99 for US subscribers. The full list of available countries can be found on DAZN’s website. In addition to the PPV, though, viewers will be required to have a DAZN subscription. The three options are: Monthly Saver: £1.00 for the first month, then £9.99 a month – it can only be cancelled after 12 months Flexible Pass: £5.00 for the first month, then £19.99 a month – it can be cancelled anytime with 30 days' notice. Annual Super Saver: £99.99 upfront for a year. It’s also been reported that cinemas will screen the event through the company Unique X, though it’s not clear which UK venues will be showing the fights (we’ve spotted listings in Birmingham and Stockport at first). What else is happening this fight week? There’s the open workout on Wednesday, undercard and main event press conferences on Thursday, the weigh-in on Friday and a celebrity countdown show just before the event on Saturday. Margot Robbie gave a guided tour of the Barbie Dreamhouse and fans are in 'heaven'
With the release of the Barbie movie coming up, Margot Robbie gave an inside look into the Mattel doll's Dreamhouse with Architectural Digest - and it's just as iconic as you would expect. Of course, the one particular colour that is synonymous with Barbie and fuchsia pink is everywhere on the set - tables, chairs, walls, cars you name it. While the aesthetic took inspiration from Palm Springs's midcentury modernism, with furniture from the 1950s and 1960s, back to when Barbie was first created in 1959 by Ruth Handler as well as products that would be included in Dreamhouse today. Sign up to our free Indy100 weekly newsletter Production designer Sarah Greenwood and set decorator Katie Spence worked with director Greta Gerwig to recreate the childhood nostalgia on-screen, and the set was first made in a miniature format before it was actually created for the set. “I wanted to capture what was so ridiculously fun about the Dreamhouses," Gerwig told Architectural Digest. In terms of scale, the proportions were adapted to be 23 per cent smaller than human size for the set, Gerwig described how this created an "odd effect of making the actors seem big in the space but small overall." Some of the fun elements of the design include a slide to replace the stairs that goes from the bedroom to the pool - "Not super practical but nothing is for Barbie," Robbie said. (Though the pool is fake as there is no actual water in Barbie Land). Despite there being no water, Barbie still showers - but nothing comes out. Nonetheless, Robbie pretends to shower and recalled how she would "look up the old Radox commercials and try to replicate that." In the kitchen, Robbie explained how there is "a mixture of things that a physically there but then also decal (a picture, design, or label made to be transferred (as to glass) from specially prepared paper)," such as the oven and cooker. This plays into the world of toys and "how it would look if it was a Mattel product" as Robbie opened the fridge to show that the back is intentionally 2D with groceries painted onto the decal while the fridge shelf had physical products stocked. "I want everyone to feel like they can reach into the screen and touch everything," Gerwig said, as she recalled standing in Toys 'R' Us looking at Barbie dolls with the plastic sheet over them and wanting to take and touch everything. This is what inspired Barbie's wardrobe with clear doors to the doll's neatly hung up outfits and accessories, with her outfit already magically set out in her wardrobe. When it comes to getting from her bedroom to her car, Barbie impossibly floats down as Robbie said: "Greta said no one actually walks their Barbie down the steps to get into the car." Here's what fans had to say about the Dreamhouse tour: The Barbie movie is set to be released next month on July 21. Elsewhere, the new Barbie movie has caused a worldwide shortage of pink and a new version of 'Barbie Girl' will feature on the movie’s soundtrack. Have your say in our news democracy.
