A pianist has become an overnight sensation after his performance at a cafe took an unexpected twist. The Franco-German musician concluded his video by hailing the experience as proof of the unifying power of music. The recording racked up a staggering 53.9 million views in just two days, as fellow TikTokers shared their delight at the heartwarming display. “These people just got free tickets to a very expensive show,” one commented. “It’s fun cause they probably get paid to sing [...] so this was just for the moment,” wrote another. “As a former dancer I can tell you some people just love their art and share it anywhere anytime,” pointed out a third. “Music is a universal language even if you don’t understand the lyrics you can find beauty in the song,” said a fourth. The stream itself was to promote the online cryptocurrency casino Stake, and it was when Drake wanted to gift $499.99 in subscribers to a streamer known only as Daisy that he experienced some problems. And it all unfolded while Daisy was broadcasting herself getting a foot massage. As you do. After entering a verification code to authorise the purchase, the dialogue box disappeared to show the payment hadn’t in fact gone through and Drake would have to try and pay again. Lenny Rush, the Bafta-winning child actor, is set to make history as the first child presenter of the BBC’s charity fundraiser for Children in Need on Friday night. Rush, 14, who has a form of dwarfism known as Spondyloepiphyseal Dysplasia congenita (Harry Potter actor Warwick Davis has the same condition), started off his acting career with a number of appearances in children’s television, including CBeebies series Apple Tree House and CBBC’s Dodger and The Dumping Ground – the latter of which is an expansion of the Tracy Beaker franchise. He's also worked on a few productions by writer Jack Thorne, including on his retelling of A Christmas Carol at London’s Old Vic Theatre and his BBC series Best Interests. Rush is an award winner, too, having won the gong for best male comedy performance in Daisy May Cooper’s Am I Being Unreasonable?. As for future roles, he’s set to appear alongside 15th Doctor and Sex Education star Ncuti Gatwa in the next series of Doctor Who, playing the character of Morris once David Tennant’s 60th anniversary specials are out of the way. Speaking of Doctor Who, a special ‘minisode’ of the fantasy series will air during Friday’s TV event, starring Tennant who has returned to the fan favourite programme as the Fourteenth Doctor. Kevin Hart has been consoled by his celebrity friend The Rock after an accident left him requiring the use of a wheelchair. The actor and comedian took to Instagram to explain to fans that attempting to “do some young stuff” caused him to temporarily need to use a wheelchair. Hart captioned a video on his Instagram: “44 and sitting my ass down!!!!! I got to be the dumbest man alive!!!!! What the fuck am I doing???? I blew my shit….I’m done. FML.” In the video, he explained exactly what went down and how he suffered the injuries. He said: “Ladies and gentlemen the age 40 is real, to all my men and women out there who are 40 years old and above it's not a game. “Respect that age, respect that age or that age will make you respect it. I was just forced to respect it." “This is just a public service announcement because I know people may see me out and I don't want you to be alarmed but I'm in a wheelchair.” He went, on saying he tried to do some “young man’s stuff” and attempted to race the former NFL player Stevan Ridley in a sprint as a bet. It did not end well for Hart as he explained, “I blew all my shit” including his lower abdomen and abductor muscles, leaving him unable to walk. Among the many well-wishes left in the Instagram comments, one came from Hart's friend, co-star and former wrestler The Rock, who shared his experience with a similar injury. The Rock wrote: “I tore my adductor off my pelvis during a wrestling match. True story. You’ll be fine. You’ll grow a 3rd ball but you’ll be fine.
