Rapper Kevin Gates shocks fans with graphic Instagram story
Rapper Kevin Gates shocks fans with graphic Instagram story
Rapper Kevin Gates has shocked the internet after posting an extremely graphic childbirth video on his Instagram Stories. On Sunday, May 8th, the 37-year-old '2 Phones' singer shared a video of a seemingly random woman giving birth from a standing position. Gates captioned the video with: "The most beautiful thing on earth is the gift of life [folded hands emoji] [heart hands emoji]." Fans of the star immediately thought that it was Gates's wife Dreka Haynes, who he has two children with, in the video except it wasn't. Sign up to our free Indy100 weekly newsletter According to Pink Villa, the video was shared in April and features a woman named Kendra who was giving birth. The caption for the video states: "In celebration of black maternal health week, Kendra is sharing her birth video and she offers this wisdom from this amazing birth experience." However, despite it not being Gates's other half people were still shocked to see such graphic content on Instagram and urged others not to go and look at it, which they naturally did. Twitch star Kai Cenat also looked at the story while on a live stream, as did rapper Kendrick Lamar who liked a meme about the poster on Twitter. Back in 2013, Gates expressed how much he loves his own children but was keen to shield them from the public. He told Complex: "I lay in the bed with them [my children], hold them, love on them. It really doesn't make sense to say [how many kids I have]. Not in a bad way, but it’s not like the public will ever get to see my children, and if they do see them, they aren't going to know they’re mine. Later on, maybe, I get to the point where I share it with the world." Have your say in our news democracy. Caitlyn Jenner tried to swear at Joe Biden and it completely backfired
Caitlyn Jenner tried to swear at Joe Biden and it completely backfired
Caitlyn Jenner tried to use a rude word to criticise President Joe Biden but it backfired immediately after a glaring spelling error. The reality star is a well-known supporter of the controversial former president Donald Trump and said she would vote for him again in 2024 if he runs. Now, in an online interaction with Trump’s son Donald Jr, the 74-year-old has come under fire for remarks made involving the use of the R-word slur. In an X/Twitter post, Trump Jr shared an article about Biden’s administration and captioned it, “I know you’re not allowed to use the R word that was a big part of our vernacular growing up if you’re my age, but there has to be exceptions, right?” But, it seems Jenner had no hesitation in using the controversial word and went to write it out in a reply. But, it was quickly pointed out that she spelt it wrong. The reality star wrote: “I’ll say it RETARTED!” The results were hilarious as people made the whole debacle into one big joke at Jenner’s expense. “Girl you still ain’t say it,” one person pointed out. Another joked it was reminiscent of “The Black Eyed Peas in 2003” after their song using the slur was changed to the clean version with the title, Let's Get It Started. Although it originated as a medical term, the R-word slur is considered by The Special Olympics as a form of hate speech after becoming known as an insult towards people with mental impairments. Rick Ross reveals he's been left with seizures after he 'partied hard' and drank lean
American rapper Rick Ross has opened up about his health and lifestyle after suffering a heart attack in 2018, revealing he had to make “big changes”. The 47-year-old rose to fame in 2008 thanks to his smash hit track Hustlin’ and has since come to be known as an influential figure in hip hop. With his wealth, he has accumulated some strange material items, including some pet buffalo and a mansion littered with clothes and shoes. But, in a recent interview with Rolling Stone, the rapper admitted to being in poor health in past years. When asked about his health, he explained, “I had to make some big changes”, Ross explained: “I still don’t sleep. I’m a partier. I’m gonna be that way till I die. I’ve tried taking things to help, but it’s useless. The medicine that I take now is for seizures and s**t like that. I partied hard.” The rapper said one of his biggest habits was drinking lean – a recreational drug that is made by mixing prescription medicine with a drink – but, it led him to suffering seizures. “When you have a seizure, you wake up six hours later like, ‘Where am I?’ I still don’t want to sleep. I lay down for two or three hours, but then I’ll get up. “Six hours is good for me. An hour is a wonderful nap for me. If I lay down for an hour, I can get up and play a football game,” Ross explained. He added that, while he’s never had diabetes or used the diabetes drug Ozempic to lose weight, he has had to cut out sodas and stop his habit of eating full meals in the middle of the night. The rapper revealed, “One of my worst habits was, I’d be up in the middle of the night eating T-bone steaks and ordering Waffle House. The chef would make some s**t for us at 2 a.m., and we’d want spaghetti, lasagna, and some lamb chops, and some garlic rolls, for no reason. “And that’s what we’re eating in the middle of the night! So, for me to get up to 350 pounds, once I stopped that, I’m fittin’ to chill.” The rapper admitted in a 2017 appearance on Dr. Oz that there was a period in 2011 when he was having back-to-back seizures. He explained, “I went hard,” adding, “It didn't seem as bad to me because the majority of the time I would be putting in work. The other time I would be partying, and the rest of the time it kind of blended. And that went on for years and years and years. I just developed those certain patterns”.
