Stepson of Titanic sub billionaire says OnlyFans model is 'sweet' then calls Cardi B 'trash'
The stepson of British billionaire Hamish Harding, one of the people trapped on the missing Titanic submarine, has interacted with rapper Cardi B and an OnlyFans model as the search for his stepdad continues. Brian Szasz turned heads on Tuesday after he revealed that he would be attending a Blink-182 concert while Harding is feared missing at the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean. In an unlikely turn of events, Szasz was the subject of a smackdown from rapper Cardi B who laid into him on Instagram Stories for going to the concert while his stepdad is lost. The 30-year-old WAP rapper said in a video: "Ay so one of the billionaires that's missing underwater, on the submarine shit... One of the billionaires, they stepson is at a concert, right, a Blink-182 concert. "People was like, 'Uh what is he supposed to do, be sad at the house? Is he supposed to go look for him himself?' Yes. You supposed to be at the house sad. You supposed to be crying for me, you supposed to be right next to the phone waiting to hear any updates about me." Sign up to our free Indy100 weekly newsletter Szasz didn't take too kindly to this and responded to Cardi B on Twitter. Sharing TMZ's story on the matter he wrote: "What a pos trashy celeb. Cardi B trying to get clout off me and my families suffering. I went to a Blink 182 concert for coping rather than sitting at home and watching the news. Shame on you Cardi get some class!" He later added: "Cardi B We know all your latest releases are trash but is your career this desperate for attention now??" If that wasn't the most unlikely interaction surrounding the harrowing submarine story Szasz had earlier responded to an OnlyFans model's thirst trap. The model @Perfexiaa told Szasz that he was in her thoughts and prayers. He responded by writing: "Thank you so much! We’ve interacted and I’ve liked your posts your for years!" He added: "It’s horrible how mean people can be and even make thinks up, but you’re a really sweet person and thank you again!" The search for the OceanGate submarine continues after it went missing on Sunday with five people on board. Searchers are trying to locate the sound of reported 'banging' as there are said to only be 12 hours of oxygen left. Have your say in our news democracy. Nigel Farage has already escaped I'm a Celebrity Bushtucker trials
TV viewers hoping to put ex-Brexit Party leader Nigel Farage through the wringer in the I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! jungle might be in for some disappointment. The right-wing firebrand is part of this year's edition of reality show that places celebrities into the Australian jungle, with Farage taking the (what seems to be) yearly role of the jungle politician in need of image rehabilitation. It was the expectation that Farage would be the public's pick to take on the infamously grueling Bushtucker Trials this year (with a number of online critics noting that success in this trials would soften the public towards him), however there's an issue. The former UKIP leader has already said he's out of the running when it comes to certain trials, due to past injuries. "Well, anything involving weightlifting, I'd be out because I've obviously had some quite serious physical injuries and neck reconstructions and goodness knows what else," said Farage to The Sun. "So they are fully aware that I'm a little bit damaged when it comes to bodily structure. But having said that, I can still do most things." The culprit behind the serious injuries that Farage is alluding to was a bad plane crash back in 2010 that left him with a punctured lung, chipped vertebrae, a fractured sternum, and several fractured ribs - Farage would later state that these injuries stopped him golfing, bar a brief advert for Paddy Power. He's still chipper about doing some of the trials, though. "I doubt that any of the trials are actually going to kill me, although I don't think they'll all be a bag of fun. "I signed up for this. It's in for a penny in for a pound. So let's go." The public will certainly try and get their money's worth with Farage - the highest paid star in I'm A Celeb history- even if he won't end up doing every trial he is nominated for. That's if he isn't voted off first. How to join the indy100's free WhatsApp channel Sign up to our new free Indy100 weekly newsletter Have your say in our news democracy. Jason Aldean speaks out after 'racist' song becomes smash hit
American singer Jason Aldean has spoken out to thank his fans after his “racist” song Try That In A Small Town becomes a hit. The country singer’s track saw a 999 per cent increase in streams after it began trending last week for its content following the release of the accompanying music video. The tune also made it to number 2 on the Billboard Chart. The lyrics of the song have been accused, by some, of having violent and racist undertones. The chorus says: “Try that in a small town, see how far you make it down the road. Round here we take care of our own. “You cross that line it won't take long for you to find out, I recommend you don't try that in a small town.” Sign up to our free Indy100 weekly newsletter On Twitter, Aldean shared a montage clip featuring imagery taken behind the scenes of his tour. In one clip, Aldean addressed the crowd referencing the controversy around the song. “So, somebody asked me, ‘Hey man, do you think you’re going to play this song tonight?’. The answer was simple. The people have spoken and you guys spoke very, very loudly this week.” Aldean denied that the track has any racial undertones, taking to social media last week to write: “In the past 24 hours I have been accused of releasing a pro-lynching song (a song that has been out since May) and was subject to the comparison that I (direct quote) was not too pleased with the nationwide BLM protests. “These references are not only meritless, but dangerous.” The music video for the song features imagery of riots and protests and was pulled from the air by television network Country Music Television (CMT) in the US three days after it was first shown.
