Joe Rogan and Ice Cube take on Bud Light fiasco, discuss how it affects 'middle class': 'People are sick of this s**t'

AUSTIN, TEXAS: The reason for Bud Light's catastrophic collaboration with transgender TikTok personality Dylan Mulvaney was examined by podcaster Joe Rogan and rapper Ice Cube. According to Ice Cube, Americans should be wondering who inside Bud Light's corporate hierarchy was in charge of getting transgender TikTok personality Dylan Mulvaney to market the beverage.

During an episode of 'The Joe Rogan Experience,' Ice Cube asked, “Who controls Bud Light? That’s the question. Why would they make a dumb decision like that? Are they trying to ruin Bud Light? And why would they want to ruin Bud Light? Are they trying to take down some of our most iconic American brands?”

‘People are sick of this s**t’

Americans, according to Rogan, are sick of having woke politics rule their life. "People are sick of this s**t. They’re sick of social things like that, that are controversial getting stuffed in your face, where you have to accept. People are like, ‘I don’t want to accept it,’" he said.

Rogan further asserted that the collapse of Bud Light was the result of a bad business choice that was never meant to enrage Bud Light supporters. He said that Bud Light corporate's disconnect from its client base was the true issue.

“They don’t know any real people. They don’t know regular people. They have no idea that if you take a brand [like] Bud Light, which is known for blue-collar drinking people that like to f---ing watch football and drink Bud Light, then all of a sudden you have this mentally ill person who’s just an attention w****e,” Rogan said, referring to Mulvaney.

‘F*** Bud Light’

A few days after Mulvaney's video endorsing the beer brand went popular online in April, singer Kid Rock used numerous Bud Light cans as target practice. "F*** Anheuser-Busch and f*** Bud Light! After firing a powerful burst of gunfire that crushed beer cans, the musician said to the camera, "Have a great day".

The decision made by Bud Light has harmed its regular employees the most, according to Ice Cube. “Who's getting hurt in this whole thing? Is it the Bud Light brass? Would their bonuses be affected? Would their checks and salaries be affected?” the rapper asked.

"Bunch of middle-class guys are paying the price 'cause [you] got distribution centers, guys that deliver the beer nobody want[s]. Now, they’re out of a job. Now, you’re really attacking the middle class by making a brand that’s so big take a hit like that," Ice Cube added.
