Joss Stone is to play her first ever headline gig at London's Royal Albert Hall.

The singer will head to London next summer to perform a one-off show at the historic venue for the first time as a headliner after previously appearing there a number of times over the years.

The show takes place on July 8 with the Ticketmaster pre-sale going live on November at 10am with the general sale following on December 1 at 10am via Ticketmaster.co.uk.

Joss recently returned to the charts with her charity single 'Golden' which was recorded with the Change + Check choir as part of a breast cancer awareness campaign which is being backed by TV presenter Lorraine Kelly and her show 'Lorraine'.

The single is dedicated Hannah Hawkins, 33, who worked as a producer on 'Lorraine' and recently passed away following a battle with breast cancer.

Joss previously admitted the song means a lot to her because her cousin also battled the disease.

Speaking on 'Lorraine', she explained: "It's a wonderful song. It means a lot to me, to all of us. Especially my cousin Jo, who has gone through breast cancer and she's here today. She's been the most inspiring person I know."

'Lorraine' producer Helen Addis, who co-founded the Change + Check campaign, added: "It's a real pinch-me moment and I cannot believe I'm sat on the sofa with this one [Joss].

"What is so powerful and so golden about it this year is that we're doing it in memory of our dear, darling producer Hannah Hawkins. She lost her life a week ago today to secondary breast cancer.

"She was a dear friend of ours. We all love her and we're going to miss her very, very much but we want to dedicate this to her, to Rory her little baby who's barely nine weeks old and to her husband Tom."

Proceeds from the single's downloads will go to breast cancer charity Future Dreams.
