LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Australian actor-director Marcus Graham recently opened up about his past romance with actress Nicole Kidman and said how he was left heartbroken when the latter left him for Tom Cruise. The 'E Street' star revealed that he and Kidman dated when they were in their early 20s before the latter met Cruise on the set of 'Days of Thunder' and fell in love.

"I was devastated and heartbroken but that's the way it goes... Why would I want to keep her in Australia and lock her away?" Marcus told Woman's Day, as per the Daily Mail. "I don't have any bad feelings there and I understand. At the time I cried for a long time. I was really hurt and confused but I had lots to learn about the world," he added. Even though their relationship has ended, Graham said he had "nothing bad to say about Nicole."
