'Gen Z doesn't care': The Five's Jeanine Pirro blames BLM movement for killing of ex-police chief in Las Vegas

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Jeanine Pirro put the blame of the recent Las Vegas hit-an-run case on the Black Lives Matter movement and its impact after George Floyd's murder.

'The Five' anchor made this comment on the September 18 episode as the panel discussed the killing of former police chief Andreas Probst, 64, in the Sin City.

Pirro claimed that all of Gen Z is not thinking about the consequences because of the negative influences of BLM.

Pirro urged for major legal changes to be made in the country for a stricter response to criminal activities.

'The Five' hosts were talking about the deliberate killing of a retired police chief by two young men in a speeding car while he was cycling in the early morning hours.

Pirro pointed out the legal processes that the 17-year-old perpetrator has had to face so far.

"My understanding is that the teen has some priors which of course lends to his being required to be treated and tried in an adult court," the judge said,

"But make no mistake. Even though he's 17 and tried in an adult court, his sentencing can be 35 per cent less because he is 17 years old," she added.

Here, Pirro was suggesting that the boys involved in the killing be treated with a stricter lens in the eyes of the law.

She then went on to comment on the surging crime cases that have resulted in the victims not getting justice for their suffering and put the blame on the generation of youth.

"Generation Z doesn't care about consequences, which to them now is a relatively new concept," Pirro said.

She added, "Villains for the media to cover must be white or it didn't happen."

'The Five' host then went on to claim that the media coverage and the protests of the BLM movement had a negative impact on the young generation, causing them to commit crimes.

She also claimed inaccuracy in the narrative of Michael Brown's 2014 killing.

"At the time of George Floyd, he was 13 or 14," Pirro said, "At the time of Michael Brown, "hands up don't shoot" which we knew was not accurate because Brown reached for the cop's gun first, this kid was 8 years old."

Pirro then added that the perpetrator had watched "businesses burned, neighborhoods burned, murder, mayhem, no consequences, America was under fire."

"This is what we got," Pirro concluded "And this is what we are gonna have for the next 20 years unless that pendulum swings the other way."

She also demanded that "these kids" should be locked up and not be treated with leniency for being minors to "make them examples."
