'The Five' host Greg Gutfeld blames George Floyd's death for law enforcement officers' bad rep

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: 'The Five' host Greg Gutfeld shared his concerns about the 2001 Twin Tower attacks disappearing from the memory and acknowledgment of Americans today.

The Fox News show panel discussed the 9/11 attacks on the 22nd anniversary wherein Gutfeld brought up the changing socio-political state of the country.

He went on to compare the 'Black Lives Matter' movement that followed the death of George Floyd to the World Trade Center disaster in his piece as well.

Greg Gutfeld wants law enforcement officers to be respected as before

Gutfeld's worries specifically lay in the law enforcement forces getting affected by the death of Floyd and the protests and media coverage that followed the same.

"I blame our government, our education, our media for erasing our unified love for those who gave their lives saving others," Gutfeld said, "Unity since then has been replaced by division."

He also spoke up about American classrooms not discussing the sacrifices made by police and military officers for the protection of American citizens

"Remember Shanksville? It's no George Floyd," he continued.

"But we will never know how many Black, White, Asian, or brown lives they saved. They gave their lives so others would live. We should be teaching that in class instead of gender dysphoria but it's not as edgy and cool."

"Why bring up George Floyd on 9/11? It's simple: We have changed," Gutfeld added.

He said, "The circumstances of Floyd's death were used to vilify every law enforcement officer in America. It's as if a total of 72 LEOs didn't die on 9/11. Or any other day. That was just erased."

Greg Gutfeld claims Donald Trump 'beheaded' ISIS

Gutfeld went on to also comment on Donald Trump's indictment and how it reflects the current political thinking of America. He started by praising Trump for eliminating the impact of ISIS.

"It's funny when you remember that ISIS was an idea," he said.

He added, "They were the JV even though they were beheading Americans and slaughtered thousands. And then, Trump came along and he beheaded the beheaders. Now, we're gonna jail him!"

The Fox host said that ISIS has been "replaced" by Trump in the country while the former president and the military should be thanked for making the terrorist group lose power.

Gutfeld also went on to claim that Fox News was the only channel covering the memorials happening all over the country while other networks had been actively making reports on the anniversary.

"Here at Fox, today is 9/11. At CNN and MSNBC, it's Monday," he said.
