AUSTIN, TEXAS: Elon Musk and Joe Rogan both wonder if Bronny James' cardiac arrest was a COVID-19 vaccination adverse effect.

Myocarditis is a documented adverse effect of the vaccine, and Musk has previously questioned how prevalent it is in patients who have had several vaccinations.

On July 24, 2023, Bronny, 18, had a heart attack while taking part in a loosely organized team practice at USC.

Rogan claims that it is impossible to determine for sure that Bronny's medical problems were not brought on by the vaccine.

Joe Rogan’s take about the incident

Joe Rogan said, “I saw some woman saying that LeBron James son," Rogan said. "What happened was definitely not the vaccine. It had nothing to do with the COVID vaccine.”

He further added, “You can't say that because we know it's not true. We know that's not true. We know you don't know that. It definitely wasn't the vaccine, especially right after the kid has a heart attack.”

He also mentioned, “Unless you are his physician, unless you are doing MRIs on him, unless you find out there's some congenital heart issue that exists, it from birth. And so you can clearly say this was the problem.”

He concluded by saying, “You can't say that it's just propaganda. How many guys do you have to see that are falling down while they're being interviewed or falling down on the field or having heart attacks while they're 18 years old?”

Since then, Bronny James' recuperation from his cardiac arrest has started. A few times, he has been spotted out in public as he works to regain his health.

Bronny James’ health condition

A representative for the James family said that there is a lot of hope that Bronny James will soon return to playing competitive basketball. James has a treatable congenital cardiac condition, according to the spokesperson.

“(The issue) is an anatomically and functionally significant congenital heart defect, which can and will be treated,” the spokesperson said.

“We are very confident in Bronny’s full recovery and return to basketball in the very near future. We will continue to provide updates to media and respectfully reiterate the family’s request for privacy,” the spokesperson added.

As Bronny continues his recuperation and starts therapy, USC coach Andy Enfield has stated that the school would be understanding and supportive of him in any way they can.

“Our goal is to support Bronny in any way we can academically, athletically, and be patient with how things develop in his return,” Enfield said via ESPN.
