'What about CryptoZoo?' Logan Paul faces backlash after donating $300K to Sidemen Charity Match 2023

CLEVELAND, OHIO: Logan Paul has found himself in hot waters once again! Recently, Prime founders KSI and Logan Paul donated around $300,000 to the Sidemen Charity Match.

However, it seems like Paul's CryptoZoo stint is back to haunt him. Many individuals who invested in Paul's non-existent NFT-based Crypto Zoo, still reportedly await to receive their refund back.

Previously, Paul received backlash from Coffeezilla, a YouTube watchdog, for not paying back clients of CryptoZoo six months after pledging to repay $1.8 million from his own funds

Sidemen Charity Match raises around $12,51,680

Prior to the Sidemen charity match, Logan Paul and KSI gave $300,000 to charity. Additionally, during the Sidemen FC vs. YouTube Allstars game, about $12,51,680 was raised.

Several YouTubers and A-list influencers donated money, according to a tweet from Dexerto.

All proceeds from the match, which was arranged by YouTube celebrities, will go to the charities Rays of Sunshine, the Teenage Cancer Trust for Children, and the Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM).

In addition to the sold-out London Stadium crowd, 2.7 million concurrent spectators watched the game live on YouTube. In total, the video has received nearly 12 million views.

The overall total managed to quadruple the amount raised during the game the year before thanks to donations that came in throughout the live stream.

Logan Paul receives flak despite donating to Sidemen Charity Match

However, it looks like Paul's CryptoZoo issue is not going away any soon. Despite the generous donation to aid charities, Internet users quickly flocked to X, formerly known as Twitter to slam Paul.

A furious Internet asked, “What about CryptoZoo?” whereas another commented, “That’s Logan though this was from prime.”

While one said, “Maybe Logan should try paying back the people he scammed.” A fourth user quipped, “And Logan can’t give back the 2mill to his fans?”

One person talking about tax, said, “Which tax exemption……i mean charity is this money going to?” while another added, “Not too surprised though, heard they have made over 1B in profits.”
