Twitch streamer xQc claims that tech YouTuber Linus Sebastian’s channel, renowned for his Linus Tech Tips, is worth more than $100 million after he came to know that the latter is selling his YouTube channel.

Sebastian disclosed in a YouTube video titled ‘I'm Stepping Down’ that he received a $100 million bid from the bidders to sell his business.

‘It’s worth way more than that’

The well-known Minecraft streamer xQc was shocked to learn about the offer and believed the potential purchasers were undervaluing him. “Wait! is that it?”, he said. Sebastian did, however, admit that he declined the substantial offer to sell the business. He refused it, saying that he is "not motivated by money."

He also praised Sebastian for his choice. In agreement with Sebastian's choice not to sell, xQc said, “Oh no, it’s worth way more than that.”

The tech YouTuber said that he already has a spacious home and all the necessities, negating the necessity for him to sell his business right soon.

Sebastian’s reason to step down

Recently, Linus Sebastian announced that he will no longer serve as the CEO of his media company. He is continuing to produce videos, though less frequently, and will still make sporadic YouTube channel appearances. He also explained his motivations for giving up his role as CEO in the YouTube video.

He said that he no longer has the temperament necessary to run his company, which employs more than 100 people. Along with Floatplane Media, LTT Labs, and Creator Warehouse, his company is in charge of the Linus Tech Tips YouTube channel.

However, Sebastian and his wife will continue to serve as the company's owners and directors.
