PARIS, FRANCE: You may be wondering how a brand known for more-is-more fabric, larger-than-life ballgowns, and avant-garde everything could transfer into swimwear. Viktor & Rolf did precisely that, and not only at Haute Couture Fashion Week. On July 5, Lisa Rinna made a breathtaking entrance at the 2023 fashion show in Paris. Her outfit, however, rapidly became the object of internet ridicule, with many wondering how the Bravo personality manages to breathe.

Much of the glitterati avoided this week's July 4th festivities—and who can blame them, given America's state? Instead, they flew to Paris to attend the fall/winter haute couture presentations, which seems like a much more appropriate time for a celebrity. They've appeared at Viktor & Rolf, Chanel, Schiaparelli, Thom Browne, Rahul Mishra, and other fashion houses. Some appear to be overdressed for the warm temperatures, while others appear to have just returned from a pool party.

Former Real Housewives alum nails the villain walk in Paris

Consider a corpus of work. You'd think that after three decades of designing, Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren had seen it all. But it turns out they'd never done a swimming suit or bodysuit—at least not to that level. That has certainly changed following their autumn couture collection. Many celebs chose to grace the carpet that rolled out in Paris this Wednesday, and to represent the world of Bravo, one of our Real Housewives alums pulled out all the stops. Lisa has always wowed us with her wild fashion choices, but the former Real Housewives star totally stole the show.

'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' alum Lisa is now in style. Her appearance at the fashion show is reminiscent of a movie villain, which isn't always a negative thing. Lisa wore an all-black ensemble, including a long black coat with balloon sleeves embroidered with shark fins. She accessorized the coat with black leggings and black sunglasses.

'Wonder if the lips are designed by V&R too'

As Lisa chose to share the moment by posting a clip to her Instagram account, her followers were quick to share some not so positive feedback on her all-black look. One person commented, "I feel like designers are just messing with her now and making her put on these awful costumes." Another person added, "Not breathing in the name of fashion 😂🔥." One user noted, "That looks so uncomfortable 😩." A fourth user quipped, "Fashion or a ridiculous costume? 🤷🏻‍♀️ first thought went immediately to Jeff Goldblum in the movie The Fly 😄."

People didn't restrict their opinion to just Lisa's account. When WWD Magazine chose to share Lisa's look on their official Instagram account, the trolling just kept coming. One user commented, "She’s trying too hard! Smh 🤦🏽‍♀️." Another person chimed in, "That looks super uncomfortable … anything for a pic." One person threw a jab at Lisa as they wrote, "I wonder if the lips are designed by V&R too." Another person commented, "This look is from the movie “ alien planet “ ."
