NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: ‘Black Widow’ star Scarlett Johansson made her weather reporting debut on 'Today' alongside meteorologist Al Roker, who jokingly pleaded with her for a new job.

In a recent episode of 'Today,' Johansson appeared as a guest, discussing her skincare line, 'The Outset,' with host Savannah Guthrie.

She also reminisced about her breakthrough role in 'Lost in Translation' and surprised viewers by taking control in Studio 1A and directing 'Today' show.

In addition, Johansson addressed rumors surrounding the potential return of her character, Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow, to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, despite the character's apparent death in 'Avengers: Endgame'

Scarlett Johansson joins ‘Today’ host Al Roker

‘Today’ host Al Roker playfully pleaded with Scarlett Johansson for a new job while on live TV after the actress joined the weatherman on his segment.

Roker humorously posed an important question to the 38-year-old actress asking, “Now that you've done weather, are you on your way to the Marvel set?”

In a playful exchange, Roker was hinting at Johansson to help him secure a job with the company.

Johansson responded with humor, saying, "Wait a minute, I thought we talked about this prior, Al."

She insisted on Roker signing some paperwork before engaging in further discussion, saying, “I need you to sign some paperwork before we talk, okay?"

Johansson exclaimed, "My gosh, asking the hard questions!"

Roker responded with laughter, emphasizing, “That’s what we do.”

Scarlett Johansson addressed rumors of her return to the MCU

During her appearance on the 'Today' show on Monday, November 13, to promote her skincare line, The Outset, Johansson also addressed speculation about a potential return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Black Widow.

She told Savannah Guthrie, “I think it was the end, right? ... She passed," referring to the death of Natasha Romanoff in the ‘Avengers: Endgame’.

She continued, “It would be a miracle. It would be a real Marvel miracle. It would be a marvel. But who knows?"

Johansson first played Black Widow in 2010's 'Iron Man 2' and went on to appear as the character in several follow-up films including 'The Avengers' (2012) and 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier' (2014).

Although the character met her fate in 2019's 'Avengers: Endgame', she made a leading appearance once again in 2021's 'Black Widow' standalone film, which takes place after the events of 'Captain America: Civil War' (2016).
