LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Selena Gomez is in no mood to give up!

The star singer who will be seen in a new show on Food Network titled 'Selena + Chef: Home for the Holidays' is learning new cooking techniques with chef Guarnaschelli.

The singer who transitioned into acting is mastering the art of crafting mozzarella sticks, as revealed in the latest sneak peek.

“You want to drop the mozzarella sticks in?” Guarnaschelli asked Gomez at the start of the video.

“Sure! Should I do it with this?” Gomez asked as she held tongs, reports People.

Gomez enjoys learning cooking on her holiday special show

Guarnaschelli expressed skepticism about the chosen utensil and inquired, "Hmm, do you happen to have a spider?"

Gomez encounters difficulty in locating a spider and opts for a strainer instead. The chef then guides her on how to carefully lower the mozzarella sticks into the hot oil.

"It's super easy. You can fry about three or four at a time," she explains, while Gomez assists in placing the breaded cheese sticks into the pot.

But it was clear Gomez put more than four in the pot. “How’s that coming out?” Guarnaschelli asked her, noticing the mixup. She then added, wide-eyed: “You put them all in?”

“Oh was I not supposed to?” Gomez said. Guarnaschelli just laughed, “No, they’ll be fine. Just stir.”

The duo shared a light-hearted moment, poking fun at Gomez's mistake, as they moved on to the next task: preparing a dish with tomato sauce.

“The holidays have always meant so much to me," Gomez said in a statement. "It was an honor to have these amazing chefs in my kitchen to introduce some of their favorite foods and what makes the holidays special for them."

'Selena + Chef: Home for the Holidays' to premiere on November 30

Additionally, viewers can expect appearances from other chefs, friends, and family alongside Gomez in the special. This includes Gomez's best friend Raquelle Stevens, who, like her, is also venturing into the world of cooking.

'Selena + Chef' will be first streamed on HBO Max, now known as Max on Thursday, November 30.

Recently, Mitchell Bard, the executive director of the nonprofit American-Israeli Cooperative Enterprise (AICE), criticized Gomez, labeling her a "coward."

This came after Gomez expressed empathy for Palestinian civilians during the Israel-Hamas conflict.

Bard contends that the singer's priorities are centered around her business, suggesting that Rare Beauty's pro-Palestine stance was a strategic move to demonize Israel in an effort to protect the business.
