SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH: Mary Cosby's son Robert Jr is currently in a relationship and the Bravo star has dished about it in the latest episode of 'The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City'. While Mary didn't reveal the details, she admitted to Meredith Marks that Robert has a girlfriend.
However, she admitted to the cameras, "Robert Jr has a gf but everyone told me that's his wife." When the producers asked Mary if she ever met Robert's girlfriend, she said, "I didn't get a chance…" despite being in the same house.
During 'RHOSLC: After Show', Mary revealed that Robert "buys everything" for his girlfriend but uses her credit card to do so. She added, "He's got that heart. He’s the gift that keeps on giving. But the problem is, he’s giving it off my money."
Mary continued, "He gets his cheque and puts it in the bank but yet he’s still using my credit card. So we’re going to get that worked out. That's dysfunctional."
Did Robert Jr illegally providing shelter to a minor?
In August 2021, reports surfaced revealing that Mary Cosby along with her son Robert Jr had been charged for unlawfully providing shelter to a runaway and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
Mary and her son, Robert, appeared in court, where they pleaded not guilty to the misdemeanor charges. Robert and his girlfriend were reportedly hanging out at the reality star's house.
Mary's lawyer, Clayton Simms, told FOX 13, "The charges sound sinister, but the reality of the situation is much different." Clayton also revealed that "Robert's girlfriend's mother didn't want him hanging out, so she called the police."
What does Mary Cosby's son Robert Jr do?
Mary Cosby revealed during 'RHOSLC: After Show' that her son Robert has a job as a real estate agent and that he has a license to operate in the state.
Mary revealed that Robert wanted to buy properties and sell them. Mary also said that Robert is having a lot of success in his efforts and has been passing his tests like they’re no big deal.
As for a potential college degree, Mary said Robert should go to school as a fallback. She noted, "It's never too late. That's how I live my life with him. I let him do what he loves because I tell him, 'If you don't do what you love, you'll never be successful at it.' "
