'Yin and yang for real': Cardi B reveals she never imagined marrying Offset when they first met

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Cardi B never imagined that she would end up marrying Offset when they first came across each other.

In an interview, the 30-year-old rapper, while promoting her new single 'Bongos' with Megan Thee Stallion at SiriusXM’s 'The Morning Mash Up,' said she "never would've thought that" she'd marry a member of Migos after hearing their song 'Versace.'

According to People, the Grammy winner then explained how the pair is "very different".

"Yin and yang for real," she said of her and Offset's relationship. "But one thing that we like both love, we both love family. That's one thing and we both love what we do, like we both, we are each other's support system. I know that he backs me up a hundred percent and I back him up a hundred percent. I don't care," she continued.

Cardi B says there is a 'fire' between her and Offset

The 'Up' rapper told host Nicole Gordon, "Like, we do be needing that fire. I mean, we're two different people, like we're very, very like different from each other, but I think that's what make us, work."

The power couple is now embracing parenthood as they are parents to daughter Kulture Kiari Cephus, five, and son Wave Set Cephus, one.

Cardi B and Megan, 28, released their new single 'Bongos' and its accompanying music video on Thursday night, September 7.

"BRING OUT THE BONGOS," Megan posted on Twitter, now known as X, alongside two sultry images.

"Is everybody doing alright?" Cardi B asked, sharing a clip of the video on her social media.

In the video, the singer can be seen dancing on a beach and a pool in attractive outfits, accessories and colorful backgrounds.

Cardi wears a variety of outfits, including a large, teal feathered hat and an orange bikini top, while Megan donned a multi-colored green one-piece in one of her looks, along with a golden yellow swimsuit with a matching gold skirt.

The rappers sported similar outfits near the end of the video, wearing cherry-red swimsuits.

The rapper duo initially began teasing the release of 'Bongos' on Monday, September 4, via Instagram, announcing that their latest collaboration would drop on Friday, September 8.

Both artists, whose real names are Belcalis Marlenis Almanzar and Megan Pete, shared the news with an image of the song's vibrant outwork.

They are both featured on the cover, holding lollipops while wearing matching bodysuits, heels and bracelets in different pastel shades, sporting cotton-candy-colored curls.
