Is Lil Tay alive? xQc and Adin Ross react to 14-year-old rapper's death rumors: 'Clout gets people killed'

AUSTIN, TEXAS: Felix Lengyal aka xQc, and Adin Ross, two prominent Kick streamers, have reacted to the incident involving Tay Tian, also known as Lil Tay.

Reports went viral on Wednesday, August 9, saying that the 14-year-old social media star and her brother had died. However, over 24 hours later, Lil Tay issued a public statement declaring that they are safe and well.

Lil Tay stated, "I want to make it clear that my brother and I are safe and alive, but I'm completely heartbroken, and struggling to even find the right words to say. It's been a very traumatizing 24 hours."

xQc and Adin Ross talked about Lil Tay

xQc described the circumstance as "very difficult," owing to the fact that no one would know what was going on behind the scenes.

When Ross addressed Lil Tay's legal situation, the French-Canadian content creator responded saying, "Oh, clout is a f**king disease, I'll take that much. That s**t is a f**king... it's brain rot! It's a modern black mold in your head."

Ross brought up the Lil Tay rumors during a recent Kick broadcast and asked his audience if they were aware of it. He was surprised by some who spread misinformation about a 14-year-old's death on the internet in order to gain attention.

xQc responded to Ross, "Well, I think their situation is very, very difficult. I think there are a lot of components people don't know about. Right? Because it could be some of their family members lying. You don't know."

Ross then claimed that Lil Tay was in legal trouble. xQc then referred to clout as a "disease," to which Ross replied, "It's a drug. I think clout is one of the most dangerous drugs in the world. It gets people killed. It gets you caught up in situations."

Adin Ross and xQc condemned people who flaunt their celebrity status

Ross, 22, made a remark about renowned internet personalities who flaunt their celebrity in real life. He stated, "You know how many times I've seen someone say like, 'Man, you know who the f**k I am? You know who the f**k I am, bro?"

He added, "Like, they think, it's because of the internet, you know what I'm saying? They have a following on the internet, guess what, bro, at the end of the day, nobody gives a f**k! That's the truth. Chat, at the end of the day, nobody gives a f**k, bro."

Ross went on to say that everyone has their own life to live and that no one is superior. He remarked, "You have your own life. I have my own life. Everyone in this car, own lives. Nobody gives a f**k. At the end of the day, no man is higher than anybody. You're the same as me. I'm the same as anybody."

Several people commented on their discussion. In response to the short clip shared on YouTube, one person said, "Lil Tay came back to life after getting her clout back."

Another fan added, "Adin will say all this to xqc and then xqc will go right back to caring what people on Twitter say. What’s wrong with this guy."

Along with xQc and Ross, Rumble caster Bryan aka RiceGum has weighed in on the Lil Tay rumors. He stated that the TikTok singer wanted to talk to him a month before her death was disclosed by her family.
