RHONJ’s Melissa and Joe Gorga trolled as they help daughter Antonia move to college with ‘way too much stuff’

NEWARK, DELAWARE: Antonia Gorga, Melissa Gorga's daughter, has been preparing for college and providing us with insider information along the way.

However, 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey' star was quickly ridiculed as people were perplexed by the amount of stuff she and her husband Joe Gorga were assisting with transferring to their daughter's dorm room.

On August 23, the 'RHONJ' star's child showed how her family was working side by side in the kitchen of their New Jersey home as they prepared a last supper of sorts.

“The last dinner before college,” Antonia captioned the post, which showed her father Joe tending to sausages and peppers on the stove, while her brothers helped with various tasks.

The video also showed the family gathering around the dining table on their back patio, which overlooks their stunning pool area. Delicious-looking bowls of spaghetti and meatballs, a bread basket, a fresh green salad, and a bottle of wine adorned the table.

On August 25, Melissa took to Instagram to share a video of her handy husband helping their daughter move all her stuff from their New Jersey home straight to the dorm room.

The caption read, "And just like that….🥹🥹 #college #udel #rhonj." People were quick to troll the family as they wrote, "No way all of that is fitting into a dorm."

Another person chimed in, "That is ridiculous." One person also asked, "How is she fitting all that into a dorm?" A fourth user quipped, "You’re going to come back with 75% of that stuff unless you’re renting her an apartment. Dorm rooms are so small."

Others also commented, "Wholly crap how much stuff do you have to take to. Olle get these days?" Another person added, "Wow!! She going to college to get an education not moving to an apartment.."

One person also said, "Wow.. crazy .. way too much stuff .. live and learn … nothing was used, cleaning products, medical kit/ meds,,, may the list go on ..," while another said, "Good luck!!! And next year you’ll realize you don’t need that much stuff, especially in a dorm."

Where is Antonia Gorga going to college?

Antonia was gone from the nest in an instant. Melissa and Joe's daughter has begun her college life. Antonia took to TikTok on August 24 to show off her University of Delaware dorm room.

"Move in day," she captioned a video that moved from her in the back seat of her parents' car to the bedroom she and her family had meticulously set up and decorated.

Antonia showed off her decorated room after unloading numerous boxes and supplies, which included a white shelf stocked with gray cubes for storage and organization. Antonia raised her bed and added more gray cubes below, as well as a dark gray tufted headboard, to create more storage space.

We couldn't take our eyes off the space's other design components, which included a white textured bedspread, a gray-and-white throw blanket, many cushions, and a few colorful edgy art pieces on the wall.

A gray-and-white patterned area rug, a gray stack of drawers next to the bed, a bedside light with crystal decorations, and a purple neon sign over the headboard were all noteworthy touches.

Antonia also panned over to her roommate, who had decorated her part of the room in the same manner, creating a wonderful, consistent arrangement.

Finally, Antonia showed her parents waving farewell as they exited the room at the end of the video.

Did Antonia Gorga receive a Porsche for her birthday?

Antonia received the Porsche for her 17th birthday in August. Melissa and Joe have been on 'RHONJ' since the second season, and Antonia has grown up on the show. Viewers can't believe Antonia is now a teenager, let alone what a lovely automobile her parents gave her.

However, they later refused to allow her to drive temporarily. Melissa clarified why she and her husband Joe took away their daughter Antonia's Porsche on a February radio broadcast.

Melissa appeared on Jeff Lewis Live, where she addressed parenting, particularly Antonia's automobile problem. Melissa added that Antonia had a disagreement with her father Joe at the time. Melissa and Joe had asked Antonia to drive her brother around 15 minutes away to go skiing.

Antonia refused, which Melissa describes as unusual, and she continued to argue with her father for around 20 minutes. Joe is normally the calmer parent in these instances, according to Melissa, but he "lost his s**t." Joe grabbed Antonia's keys and refused to allow her to drive her car for a week.
