How old is Keke Palmer and Darius Jackson's son? Actress files restraining order against ex-BF alleging abuse

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: In a restraining order filed in Los Angeles on Thursday, November 9, Keke Palmer requests sole custody of her 8-month-old son Leodis, whom she shares with her ex-partner Darius Jackson — accusing Jackson of emotional and physical abuse.

According to court records obtained by Page Six, the 30-year-old star of 'Nope' was offered the option to grant the fitness instructor shared custody of Leodis Andrellton Jackson, or "Leo," but she declined to do so.

Keke Palmer accuses ex Darius Jackson of being 'dangerous'

According to court filings obtained by USA Today and filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, Palmer asserted that Jackson, 29, has been "unhinged, volatile and dangerous to both me and our son."

Palmer claimed in her lawsuit that she had been assaulted by Jackson "multiple times over the past 2+ years," with the most recent incident occurring only last weekend.

She submitted written accounts of several incidents of emotional and physical abuse along with still images from security camera footage as proof.

In addition to asking for both a temporary restraining order and a domestic violence restraining order, the 'Nope' actress requested the court for both legal and physical custody of her kid, Leodis.

Palmer agreed to cover the "reasonable expenses of pregnancy and birth" in her request for full custody. She did, however, request that each party pay for their own legal expenses.

The records also state that the court may "issue an earnings assignment without further notice to either party" and "may make orders" for child support.

The couple, who began dating in 2021, temporarily ignited a section of the internet in July when Jackson at the time tweeted his displeasure with a revealing dress and black bodysuit Palmer was wearing to Usher's Las Vegas residency concert.

Palmer embraced motherhood and a new chapter in her life the following month, appearing in the music video for Usher's brand-new track 'Boyfriend.'

Keke Palmer is 'concerned' about her son's safety

Palmer claimed in her filing that Jackson "trespassed into my home without my knowledge or consent, threatened me, then physically attacked me – lunging for my neck, striking me, throwing me over the couch, and stealing my phone when I told him I was going to call the police."

Palmer voiced "very concerned" for her son's safety with his father, citing "Jackson's violent, volatile, and jealous nature."

She also cited the "lack of restraint Darius has already exhibited regarding his temper in front of our son" as contributing factors.

Palmer asked Jackson to avoid contact and to keep a minimum of 100 yards between them. According to court records, Palmer does not want child support or visiting privileges for Jackson.

Palmer's mother was speaking with her sister over the phone while she was upstairs. Furthermore, she stated that Jackson attempted to take Leodis along.

According to court records, police examined everyone and urged Palmer to request a domestic violence restraining order before Jackson left her house.

Palmer further proposed that Jackson be required to undergo a 52-week batterer intervention program and be prohibited from "harassing me by publicly commenting about me, my family, and/or our son online."

"It is because of our son, Leo, that I was finally able to end my relationship with Darius once and for all and escape the abuse," Palmer said in a statement.

"Leo is the most important thing in the entire world to me; he needs and deserves to be safe and grow up in an environment free from violence."
