Joe Rogan reveals his 'anxiety' went through the roof when UFC president Dana White lost $600K in gambling

AUSTIN, TEXAS: Joe Rogan openly discussed UFC President Dana White's $600,000 blackjack loss. Over the years, White has been very outspoken about his love of gambling and perhaps has a lengthy history of playing high-stakes blackjack and is an ardent gambler.

It's interesting to note that the UFC president is incredibly fortunate and has frequently won millions of dollars in a single gaming night. White has, however, occasionally also suffered significant financial losses. The same thing occurred a few months ago when White and NFL standout Taylor Lewan were gambling.

‘My anxiety's through the roof’

Joe Rogan, who was there at the event, recalled that Dana White had a $400,000 advantage at one time but lost $600,000. He persisted in playing until he won back the money and even made a little money.

The UFC color commentator said on a recent edition of his podcast, 'The Joe Rogan Experience,' “He's there for five minutes he's down a $125,000 and I'm watching this I'm like, 'Oh my god', my anxiety's through the roof... Dana's down 600 grand, he was down 600 grand when we left, which was like 2 in the morning. We went to get something to eat at the diner we ate like 2 in the morning he's still gambling. He gambled there like who knows what hours of the morning.... He won, he got ahead.”

‘I beat them for $1.6 million’

At the Palms Casino, the UFC president was not permitted to gamble. Interestingly enough, it's not the only spot in Las Vegas where he can't bet. The Palms Casino barred White after he won $1.6 million in a single night, White disclosed in 2019.

Notably, the Fertitta brothers, who formerly controlled the UFC, now own the Palms resort and casino, allowing White to bet there once more.

Dana White explained why he was excluded from the Palms Casino in a video with Barstool Sports, “I beat them for $1.6 million and as soon as the Palms sold, the people who came in asked me to stop playing there. So I left, then it sold again... I can go there for dinner and stuff like that but I can't play. There's a few places in town that I can't I play, that I can't play at.”
