Kristen Stewart channels James Dean in denim ensemble while running errands in Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Kristen Stewart chose to go very casual while running errands in Los Angeles recently. The 'Twilight' actress, 33, was seen sporting a double denim ensemble, pairing a black jacket with stylishly faded blue jeans. Her jeans featured a playful tear just below her backside. She also had on a basic white t-shirt.

Sporting a dark brown mullet, Stewart topped off her attire with a baseball cap, completing the look with white sneakers and black socks. This ensemble was in stark contrast to the dazzling glamor she exuded at the Met Gala in New York earlier this month.

Kristen Stewart wears Chanel

The 2023 Met Gala, hosted by Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, paid tribute to legendary designer Karl Lagerfeld. He was known for his iconic tenure as Chanel's chief designer for over three decades until his death in 2019 at 85.

Stewart attended the event dressed in Chanel alongside Charlotte Casiraghi, Sofia Coppola and Marion Cotillard. Casiraghi, a prominent socialite, is the granddaughter of late Hollywood icon and Monaco royalty Grace Kelly, while Cotillard became the face of Chanel No 5 in 2020. Coppola interned at Chanel as a teenager.

‘He was incredibly inviting’

Stewart recalled her memories of Lagerfeld when he died. "It’s funny how he presents - so austere and so scary. He wasn’t though. He was incredibly inviting - insanely, shockingly unpretentious. He liked what he liked because he liked it. He was a fancy motherf***er, but it was true to him," she told Vanity Fair. She added, "He had this way of acknowledging his own intimidating presence and turning it into fuel for creativity. He encouraged us to push our creative boundaries."

Stewart has been engaged for a year-and-a-half to screenwriter Dylan Meyer, the daughter of Oscar-nominated writer Nicholas Meyer. Both father and daughter have joined the Hollywood writers' strike that started earlier in May.
