Are Andrew Tate's assets being seized by Romanian government again? Here are expensive things misogynistic influencer owns

ROMANIA, BUCHAREST: Following a protracted and well-publicized investigation by DIICOT, Andrew Tate and Tristan Tate have been formally charged by Romanian authorities. The Tate brothers were first imprisoned in December 2022, but it was not until June 20 that the police formally filed charges against them for human trafficking, rape, sexual exploitation, and organized crime.

According to a press release from the Directorate for Investigating Organized Crime and Terrorism, Andrew and Tristan Tate conspired to commit human trafficking with two other Romanian citizens. They allegedly deceived seven foreigners into visiting the country, subsequently coercing them to produce pornography for online distribution.

What assets of Andrew Tate are being seized by Romanian government?

The confiscation of significant assets belonging to Andrew Tate, including automobiles, real estate, and Bitcoin, has been recommended by DIICOT.

The items the Romanian government could confiscate as part of their inquiry are all included in this article. These items could potentially be seized to cover the state's legal costs.

The request to take and confiscate a number of Tate's assets has been made by the organized crime division. A press release provides a list of all the items that might be confiscated if the court grants the request, which includes expensive automobiles, jewelry, cryptocurrencies valued at thousands of dollars, and even some medals.

"The indictment requested the confiscation of several movable and immovable assets (seized and seized): 15 plots of land and buildings located in Ilfov, Prahova and Brasov counties, 15 luxury cars, 14 luxury watches, 2 bars and a medal, shares held in 4 companies, amounts of 86,580 lei, 52,650 euros, 17,430 USD and 10,370 pounds sterling and 21.080508 BTC, existing in cryptocurrency wallets," the press release read.

Since the press release went public, Tate's official Twitter account has implied that the government moved the case ahead in order to "steal his wealth." After the press release was issued, he tweeted, “Im sure this case has absolutely nothing to do with stealing my wealth.”

Additional charge for legal fees

Tate may further be required to pay a fee to cover the costs of the legal representation in addition to the aforementioned items.

According to the current currency rates, 300K Romanian Leu is equivalent to around $65.9K. The news of DIICOT taking some of Tate's cards had gone viral during his arrest in December, and it now looks that a sizable quantity of property has been added to that list.
