LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Terry Dubrow wants you to stop ‘Ozempic shaming’! The plastic surgeon, in his recent appearance on the ‘Virtual Reali-Tea’ podcast, shared that the act is ‘putting people in the hospital,’ as many celebrities admit to using diabetic drugs for weight loss. He further emphasized acceptance, “If somebody’s on Ozempic because they wanna lose weight, [we should] celebrate that we have a breakthrough for obesity.”

The ‘Botched’ co-host who is a ‘huge fan’ of the ‘true miracle breakthrough’ drug, wants everyone to understand, to ‘be careful’ and ‘do it under doctor supervision.’ Dr Paul Nassif added that they’ve noticed more people visiting hospitals for facelifts as a result of ‘Ozempic face,’ due to the loss of ‘elasticity’ in the skin from the vanished fat. “Don’t go crazy, have the surgery and gain all the weight back,” he said.

Why does Terry Dubrow think ‘Ozempic shaming’ is dangerous?

Television personality and plastic surgeon by profession, Terry Dubrow advises people to be more conscious when they shame people over ‘Ozempic’ usage for weight loss. The diabetic drug is widely popular among celebrities and is debated worldwide if it should be allowed or not, “That’s not being reported very much, and that’s because of this phenomenon called Ozempic shaming. We have to stop the Ozempic shaming,” said Dubrow.

Due to fear of ‘Ozempic shaming,’ many people are not informing ‘their doctors that they’re on it, and it can severely impact their health according to the surgeon. “It can have a lot of side effects if you’re undergoing elective surgery [people] need to open up the dialogue [with the drug].” He further said, “Think of it as Botox 10 years ago when no one would admit to it. Now everybody admits to Botox.”

'They constantly say, ‘Ozempic, Ozempic''

‘Real Housewives of Orange County’ star Emily Simpson recently admitted using the drug to ‘jumpstart’ her diet in December 2022. She slammed critics, “The thing that bothers me the most is that when people comment on the way that I look, they constantly say, ‘Ozempic, Ozempic.’”

The other reality star ‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ star Dolores Catania admitted the usage but clarified it was for medical purposes only. “I’m going through menopause, I have a thyroid issue, I have inflammation and weight is hard to take off,” she told Page Six in April.
